I found that Sapporo is better than tokyo, less people but got the similar shops.

There is a 2nd hand comic book shop which I like most coz the price are very cheap and those books still very very new.

We have a crazy crab dinner that night, about £20 per person but eat until you die

We also found the best milk desert in the world at here

After dinner we have a walk in the city anb the Sapporo tower is very beautiful at night

We went in to Marui shopping centre very late and got the discounted super tasty grapes, now I know why Japanese make the sweets so sweet like fake, because their fruit is really taste like that way, you must try

Afternoon we went to Akihabara. Akihabara is the place I must go lah. Lots of nice gadget and electric equipment shop and model kits too

The AV shop is cool too but I won’t buy any DVD there coz can download mah…lol

I bought 2 new WHITE headphones there and the price is cheaper than UK.

There is a nice stationery shop worth to shop about and the Swatch building is really really cool

Shibuya 109 is shopping heaven for shyuan and also very mess place like yik foong

Back to the day trip, wai is very kind that brought us to yokohama on his 7 seater toyota wish, and we can experience the part of Tokyo industry and residential area which normally a tourist will not see it at all.

When first arrive in yokohama, we walked thorugh a theme park, so it’s early i bring shyan to try out the exciting roller coaster and it’s really really high. then we walk throughout the yokohama and even saw some show room for home (display by the developers company and we get to see the nice design of japanese modern home (the overall price is a bit cheaper than London)

We then get to he biggest chinaown in japan and i found it’s different than the chinatown in london. It’s very japanese and mostly from china border.

we then went to the tai chang and visit the toyota display centre, fuji tv hq and the rainbow bridge and took lots of nice photos.

then we have the real sushi and try out the bloody fatty tuna which is really juicy and sold at about 450 yen (£2.20) per pc. I still prefer my salmon sushi after trying this famous otoro because the salmon for me taste far better then the fatty tuna and the price is also just 1/3 of it.

after 70% filled up, we then get to the japanese beef bbq and try out the famous japanese black beef and as what i expected, it’s just toooooo good!!!!! (about 6 small pcs for ö but this is not the top range)

the final place we went before back to hotel is he local supermarket and it just made me and shyuan really wish to stay in japan instead of london. the food and fruits are so fresh and the bread and bun is just tooo cute and soft and delicious. All the other things are just too good in packaging and seems useful as well.

Finlly we got back to the hotel at 12am (we left at 10am in the morning) and we just dunno how to thanks kok wai. Mate, come to london with your wife next time you free, I sure will treat you with the best. Thanks again brother!!!

We are now ready to go Harajuku today!!!

shinjuku is not far from harajuku, just 2 stations we arrived at harajuku. We then actually went to the meiji temple nearby the harajuku station first. Meiji temple is just a typical tourist point but is worth for looking at the huge japanese temple which i always saw in the comic book

after the temple, we follow the omotesando down halfway to get in one of the busiest youngster street in harajuku named chu-har-tong. Shyuan is so happy here and bought some shoes, bag and clothes. For girl, those clothes and bag here are cheaper than london and very japanese feel but nothing good or cheap for man instead

we then get in to the gut-yer-kar for kyu don and una don for lunch….nice!!! then we continue our way into harajuku another site called harajuku first where some branded shops there with not many ppl walking lah. then we continue to the omodesanto for a nice cup of 700 yen coffee (£3.50), a real slowly cooked coffee which is very nice. it’s like a small pub but for coffee only. Then we heading to the aoyama area to look for comme de garcons flagship shop for the building design, prada too. After that we have been to a place called moku yoku for nice cakes!!! then we have been into the maze area looking for the kakimoto saloon for hair cutting. Finally we found it and I got this hair look for 6850 yen where shyuan colouring her hair as well for total 13,650 yen. After that the lang ui stylist get us to get the katsudon!!! a bit expensive then normal lunch place, 1050 yen per bowl but really good one!!! then we are very tired liao but still have to walk for about 20 minutes to the nearby jr station at harajuku and get back to shinjuku. we are lost at first back to shinjuku but finaly we found the way.

We are on the way now, rushing on the tube to London Heathrow Terminal 3. Luckily when get to the airport, the JAL counter is quite free, so we do not need to rush anyore. The customer service girl Aiko chan are so kind, she offer us 3 seats in a row with window seat, so me and shyuan no need to share the seats with others

on the plane, basically i found the the JAL comes with bigger seating place than Emirates and MAS, I mean the space for putting your legs is longer, the seats is harder (which is good in supportting your back), even the controller is better (for Multimedia). The multimedia TV interface very good too, easy to navigate.

for the hostress, no need to say lah, jaanese girl wor….good service

for the food leh, a bit dissapointment due to run out of beef bento, i have to take the bloody cod fish instead. overall the food is not good enough, is it because it’s preparre in the UK? hopefully on the returns will have better food.

Now just half and hour to go to reach Tokyo Narita, yo yo yo…

All right all right…arrived Japan now…custom no problem at all, the Narita airport looks very very old lah, even it’s so clean. Shyuan said it’s already 30 years old liao. I just got my simcard from Softbank Global counter which I booked before hand. The customer service girl is actually chinese, so bloody funny since i dunno japanese lah. Now I am typing this on the Naria Express to Shinjuku by using my expensive 14 das JR Pass (cost us £220 each!!!)

In hotel liao, at first, it’s difficult to look for the hotel location but after I figured out how they assigned the address, then it’s not difficult to search. 7-14-14 is the hotel address in Shinjuku, which 7 means area 7 (7-chome) then street 14 and then house number 14

The hotel reception english is quite good so we got no problem of cmmunication. The funniest one is about the Free internet access notice in the lift, they just translate the english version using online translator (maybe) and came out with totally nonsense english, as shown in the photo here

after some quick rest, me and shyuan already super hungry and start to hunt for dinner nearby. There are a lot of restaurant nearby but we just know which one to choose. finally we went in one with a bit of people but we are not really satisfied after dinner because we are looking for something like the katsudon lah. Dinner cost around 2500 yen (£10). Cheaper then in London but I know consider expensive in Japan liao.

We then head off for window shopping. The products in Japan really cool, nice packaging and not expensive too. We will not buy things tonight because just first day. We did get into the red light district as well, saw pachinko too, a lot of DUCKS, BIG Camera shop with al nice camera, The mobile phone shop that with lots of damn cool looking, colourful japanese handset.

we are so tired then we have to get back hotel and sleep. oh ya, the internet access in hotel is damn fast, faster than my 24mb line in London. Lightning fast!!!!

yo yo yo…finally….my Japan trip will be starting tomorrow So excited!!! Have been thinking of travelling to Japan for so many years, now 32 years old only got the chance to go. The bloody Lee Kok Leong have been there since long long time ago and so many times (basically he study there lah). I have to thank him for providing quite some info.

So, I will create a new category here – JAPAN, stay tuned for my trip I will take many many good photos to show you (that’s what G9 for)
